2012 Events

The Deltaville Maritime Museum & Holly Point Nature Park has many activities planned this year for county residents and visitors. We invite you to come out and enjoy the Museum and Park. The park is open daily for walking on the nature trail or enjoying a picnic lunch.

The Gardenerds now meet from 9-12 every Tuesday (weather permitting). The second Wednesday of each month, the Master Gardeners present an informative program at 11 am. Everyone is welcome to attend. Some of their projects for this year include the Children's Garden, the 400th Anniversary Garden and the new woodland azalea garden.

Museum Docents - If you love history and sharing it with others, consider being a docent. Docents allow us to have the Museum open as much as possible. Docent training is held several times throughout the year. Call the Museum at 776-7200 to sign up.

Activity Volunteers - Please sign up for our ongoing volunteer list, all activities need volunteers to assist in many aspects from planning to implementing. If you have a particular talent or interest to share, please sign up to help. Call the Museum at 776-7200 or email.
